Color Guard Caption Head
The Sunrisers Drum & Bugle Corps is thrilled to welcome back Nick Ashley as our Color Guard Caption Head! Nick brings a wealth of experience and passion to the team, having first launched his color guard career in 2003 with the Bushwackers and Saturday Matinee Winter Guard.

Over the years, he has worked with numerous high school programs across Long Island, including Walt Whitman, Lindenhurst, Copiague, East Meadow, Roslyn, Mineola, and Sachem.
Since 2012, Nick has been a dedicated instructor with the Brentwood High School Marching Band and Winter Guard, helping to shape and inspire young performers.
In addition to his teaching career, Nick’s performance experience includes marching with several renowned organizations: Bushwackers (2003, 2007, 2008), Connecticut Hurricanes (2009), Long Island Sunrisers (2012), Caballeros (2015, 2016), and Alter Ego Winter Guard (2007, 2008, 2009, 2012).
