Sunrisers Drum & Bugle Corps Launches “Rise Together” Campaign to Support 2026 Season
Kings Park, NY — March 10, 2026 — The Sunrisers Drum & Bugle Corps of Kings Park, NY proudly announces the launch of its “Rise Together” fundraising campaign, aimed at supporting the corps’ 2026 touring season and sustaining its long-standing legacy of musical excellence. This initiative offers a unique opportunity for the community, local businesses, and corporate partners to join the Sunrisers in making a lasting impact on young performers.
Following a record-breaking 2024 season and a strong 2025 competitive year, the Sunrisers continue to attract talented members from across the region, including New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Each season, the corps faces significant costs associated with transportation, housing, meals, and performance logistics.
Like many performing arts organizations, the Sunrisers experienced a budgetary deficit following the completion of the 2025 season due to rising operational costs associated with travel, housing, and program logistics. The Rise Together campaign is designed to address those challenges while ensuring the long-term financial stability of the corps.
Through strategic fundraising initiatives, community events, and expanded sponsorship opportunities, the Sunrisers are working to bring the organization to a strong financial position and ensure that the corps concludes the 2026 season operating in the black, with additional reserves to support future growth and sustainability.
Through these partnerships, the corps will work to provide quality equipment and accessories to musicians and programs while also building relationships with school districts, band programs, and music educators across Long Island and beyond.
As part of the campaign, the Sunrisers will host several community-centered fundraising events, including:
Sunrisers Golf Outing – May 2026 (date to be announced)
Annual Pasta Dinner Fundraiser – June 13, 2026
Rivalry Campaign- Competitive interactive fundraising where corps compete against each other to see who raises the most funds!
Corporate Sponsorship- Corporations and local businesses can participate in any or all programs here. Get your business name on our trailer. We are proud to have our first Company "Pawfect Solutions" represented!
Other programs:
Sponsor a Meal Program, allowing supporters to help provide meals for members during rehearsals and performances
Sponsor a Mile Program, helping offset transportation costs for the corps’ travel throughout the season
Popcorn Fundraiser Program, easily assist the Corps through purchases through one of our members, volunteers, admin.
Sponsor a Member Program, allows for supporters to sponsor a member for any dollar amount.
Member Calendar Fundraiser, allows for member to "sell dates" to raise funds for their tuition.
Sales Arm, Musical Instruments and Supplies, strengthening our sales department by offering competitive pricing on music products through partnerships with leading manufacturers including D’Addario, Zildjian, and Innovative Percussion. Through these partnerships, the corps will build relationships with school districts, band programs, and music educators across Long Island and beyond. Would you like to be part of this sales arm?
